~Austria~

Winter means that spring is right around the corner. Last spring I was lucky enough to spend some time in Austria and I truly loved every second of it! Austria is a beautiful country. My husband reminded me more than once that it is also one of the safest countries in the World. From beautiful Vienna to lively Salzburg there is something for everyone here. Take some time to explore the Mountains and Lakes region, indulge in a Sound of Music Tour and enjoy some of the best Strudel in the World. If you haven't been to Austria but have always thought about going give me a call. I'd love to help you plan your next European Vacation. Auf Wiedersehen!

What exactly does a Travel Agent Do?

You may not fully understand what a travel agent/consultant does. Here’s why my clients like working with me and come back again and again:

~First, I protect my clients precious vacation dollars and hours. I've been there, seen the hotels, know the locations and I take time to get to know my clients. This allows me to properly match them with the right vacation experience. I’d hate to see anyone wasting money on the wrong vacation, even if it is a great deal.
~Second, I save my clients a lot of time and hassle. There is so much information on the internet these days and it’s hard to know what’s accurate and what’s not. It is my job to know which options/deals are better than others. In addition, I’m the one that sits on hold, checks fares, prices, etc saving hours and hours of mindless time for my clients.
~Third, I can get my clients special treatment that they can’t get on their own. Thanks to my relationships with travel suppliers, I can often get amenities, upgrades and other special VIP touches that my clients don’t have access to. So even though many “do-it-yourself” vacationers may pat themselves on the back for saving the $100, I often get my clients special amenities worth much more than that.
~Fourth, my job doesn’t stop when my clients book their travel. I go the extra mile sharing my travel tips, booking extra special activities, golf tee times, shore excursions, and I love adding my own surprise touches. I also prepare my clients for travel, so there are no surprises. I check if their passports are current, help them with packing advice, and even tipping guidelines.
~Finally, I’m 1 phone call away at all times. If my clients experience unexpected surprises during their travel like a missed connection, they know they have just 1 phone call to make and I will take care of the rest.

The next time you feel the itch to travel, give me a call! I'd love to assist you in planning your family vacation!
